Winners Announced for the Harvest Challenge 2017

Santa Rosa, Calif., November 16, 2017. Results are in for the Harvest Challenge 2017 (HC), a contest judged by leading wine industry professionals judging wines based on terroir. This year’s choice for Best of Show was given to the 2015 Estate Reserve Zinfandel from Pezzi King Vineyards.

Owned and operated by Wine Competitions Management & Productions, the judging took place November 14-15, 2017 in Sonoma County, California. More than 1,025 wines were entered in the competition. Judges awarded a total of 54 Best of Class designations, 24 Best of AVAs, 37 Double Gold medals, and 145 Gold medals.
